SBP requirements
Wood pellets for industrial customers must be supplied with SBP claim:
Exemptions from the certification requirements are sometimes possible however must be discussed additionally. |
Pellets for residential purpose
- in some cases may be supplied without FSC
- SBP certification is not required
- ENplus A1 certification provides an avantage
EUTR compliance:
All wood pellets/briquettes/chips to be exported to EU must comply to EUTR requirements. The suppliers must agree to supply documentation proving legality and sustainability of wood products supplied and pass EUTR risk assessment audit (if required by the end customer)
