The first container train with 2400 tons (120 containers) of premium wood pellets arrived today at Petrolesport Terminal in St.Petersburg. It only took 8 days for the train to travel about 5 500 kilometers from Krasnoyarsk region to St.Petersburg. GreenTimber Group will soon forward the pellets to clients in Denmark.

Transportation by rail in containers is the fastest and the most economical way of pellets delivery to the port over a long distance. This scheme was implemented by GreenTimber Group on the basis of cooperation with TransContainer and Global Ports Group. It allows efficient storage and handling of wood pellets in the port.
